Morland Delivers Branded Doors for Wernick Buildings

In 2023, Wernick Buildings, a prominent modular building manufacturer, took proactive steps to enhance the meeting rooms at their Port Talbot facility. The focus was on thoughtfully integrating corporate branding into the interior design while ensuring compliance with safety standards for fire-rated doors. This initiative represents a constructive effort to create a functional and visually appealing workspace that aligns with the company’s values.

Morland's Solution

Morland partnered with Wernick Buildings to develop a customised door solution that aligned with the company’s brand identity and safety standards. The project focused on providing fire-rated vision panel doors using Egger laminate carefully selected to match Wernick’s corporate colours.

Morland played a crucial role in creating a cohesive design by incorporating contrasting oak ABS lipping and their proprietary quick-fix glazing bead, both matching the door edging. This attention to detail ensured a seamless integration of safety features and brand aesthetics.

Approach

Morland worked collaboratively with Wernick Buildings to enhance the realisation of the client’s vision. This partnership focused on key efforts that included:

  • Precise colour matching of door laminates to Wernick’s corporate palette.
  • Utilising contrasting materials to create visual interest while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Implementing Morland’s quick-fix glazing bead system for efficient installation and sleek appearance.

Results

The partnership led to the creation of corporate-branded meeting rooms that effectively balance functionality and brand identity. The fire-rated vision panel doors not only meet essential safety standards but also play a significant role in enhancing Wernick’s corporate image within their facility. Through this collaboration, Morland showcased its ability to provide customized solutions for specialized construction projects, demonstrating expertise in developing products that combine safety, aesthetics, and brand representation.
